Throughcare currently have a number of accommodation units available around the West Midlands ready to house individuals between 16 and 65 years of age. All referrals must come through a referral agency.

The Referral ProcessOnce you refer a client to us, we will arrange an interview with them in order to carry out an assessment. At the time of referring your client, we would expect them to already have completed an external risk assessment with supporting information, which they should bring along to the interview.
Our Support staff will conduct a referral assessment at the interview to ensure the referred client is eligible for accommodation and support with us. |

When making a referral:
- Initially we will assess the suitability of the client to our program and whether our program will benefit your them
- Your client will be invited to our office where an in-depth assessment will be carried out by a Support Worker in which a risk assessment will be carried out; we will also gather the required information from the client.
- The client will be signed up with a license agreement, be notified of the accommodation rules etc.
- Develop general household skills
- Access education, work placements, employment and social activities
- Budget and manage their money
- understand the importance of keeping appointments and time management
- Prepare to move on to independent living
